Bulawayo: Fakhar Zaman scored first double century for Pakistan.
Pakistani opener Fakhar Zaman became a first player who scored double century for Pakistan. He scored 210 not out and beat the Saeed Anwar’s record of 194 against India. His score is the 5th highest individual score of ODI.
Fakhar Zaman made opening partnership of 304 runs with Imam-ul-Haq. However, Imam-ul-Haq got out after scoring 113. Asif Ali also scored half century on just 22 balls.
Pakistan also broke the record for highest opening partnership. The previous best was 286 by Sri Lanka against England. It is also the 4th highest partnership for any wicket in ODI.
Pakistan gave the target of 400 runs to Zimbabwe as they scored 399 runs for the loss of just one wicket. it is Pakistan’s highest score in ODI as they beat their previous score of 385 against Bangladesh.
Pakistan earlier won the toss and elected to bat in Pakistan Vs Zimbabwe 4th ODI. Green shirts already won the ODI series with 3-0.
