Pakistan U-19 vs India U-19: A Masterclass in Dubai

Pakistan made a massive statement in the U19 Asia Cup final. They didn’t just win; they dominated. After India won the toss and chose to field, Pakistan’s batters took control immediately. The team posted a huge total of 347 for 8 in their 50 overs.

Shahzaib Khan played the innings of his life. He smashed 172 runs off just 113 balls. His knock included 17 boundaries and 9 towering sixes. Ahmed Hussain supported him well with a solid 56. India’s bowlers had no answers for the aggressive Pakistani approach.
The Batting Collapse in the U19 Asia Cup Final
India faced a mountain to climb with a target of 348. The pressure proved too much. India’s batting lineup collapsed early and never recovered. The middle and lower orders offered almost no resistance against a disciplined bowling attack.

Devendran top-scored for India with 36, while Suryavanshi managed 26. No other batter could stay at the crease long enough to build a partnership. Pakistan’s bowlers stayed relentless, eventually bowling India out for a mere 156 runs.
Bowling Brilliance Secures the Trophy
Ali Raza led the charge with the ball. He ripped through the Indian defense to take four wickets. Abdul Subhan, Muhammad Siyam, and Huzayfa Hasan also chipped in with two wickets each. Their teamwork ensured a massive 191-run victory.

This win is significant. Pakistan and India shared the trophy back in 2012, but this is Pakistan’s first outright title. Despite the cold pre-match atmosphere and no handshakes between the captains, Pakistan’s performance spoke for itself. They leave Dubai as the undisputed champions of Asia.
