PCB and BCCI Smashed Each Other in ICC Meeting

PCB and BCCI gave strong statements during the meeting held by ICC in Calcutta. Things got intense between two arch rival boards as both boards expressed their opinion on the India Pakistan cricket series. The meeting also included PCB Chairman Najam Sethi. The matter has been discussed in connection with bilateral series. The BCCI Secretary Amitabh Chaudhary has repeatedly refused to accept it as a contract. He claimed that it was a letter of interest only and not a contract. PCB would not be considered as a war but they considered it as an agreement.

He further added that the BCCI says that they do not allow by the government, our stance is why you ask for permission from the government. It is clear that there should be no interference in cricket matters if this was the case, then you should have added this contract to me. If you did not do this, then what is the problem. Both the teams should play for South Asian fans. India has to pay 70 million dollars against Pakistan due to non-implementation of the agreement. What is done in the ICC’s Dispute Committee, on which 3-member Tribunal has also been established and the hearing will be held in October.
