Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will make its argument against the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) before the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Dispute Resolution Committee.
The PCB Vs BCCI legal battle is in progress as the Indian board will present its perspective on the issue. During yesterday’s hearing, Najam Sethi, former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, appeared before the dispute committee.
However, the PCB Vs BCCI legal battle is about the dispute over bilateral India Pakistan cricket series. India refused to play the series with Pakistan so PCB filed the notice of dispute with the governing body of cricket to claim damages.
The Indo-Pak battle got tense when PCB demanded 70 million dollars in compensation from BCCI. However, according to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) of 2014, both teams should play minimum 6 bilateral series between 2015-2023.
However, according to BCCI, they cannot play with Pakistan without the approval of their government.
