Salim Malik Made Shocking Claims Regarding Rashid Latif

Salim Malik, the former captain of Pakistan cricket team put serious allegations on Rashid Latif, another former Pakistani cricketer.

Salim Malik said that Rashid Latif came into the Pakistan cricket team due to the close affiliation with the political party at that time. He revealed that Rashid Latif used to call Muttahida Qaumi Movements founder, Altaf Hussain, his father.

The former cricketer claimed that Rashid Latif also conspired against the national team to get captaincy. He said that Rashid also put pressure on Ata-ur-Rehman, the former fast bowler, to write the affidavit against Wasim Akram.

Salim alleged that Rasid also recorded a cassette of Atas statement in which he was using harsh language against Justice (R) Malik Qayyum, the judicial commissions head that heard Ata-ur-Rehmans case. Salim claimed that Rashid then gave the cassette to the commission.

Earlier, Ata-ur-Rehman also alleged that Rashid made cassettes of his teammates and utilized them to blackmail them. He also challenged Rashid o answer his statement but is yet to receive a reply.
