Indian skipper Virat Kohli breaks the record of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara in the Cricket World Cup 2019 match against West Indies.

Virat Kohli became the fastest cricketer to score 20,000 runs in the international cricket. However, he did it in just 416 innings. He broke the record of legendary cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara who took 453 innings to achieve the milestone.

Virat Kohli had 19,963 runs before India vs West Indies world cup match and just needed 37 runs to break the record of the fastest batsman to score 20,000 international runs. Kohli with his 37 runs not out in India vs West Indies World Cup cricket match 2019 has easily risen to the top of the legends list.


Virat now became the 12th batsman in the world to make 20,000 international runs and the third Indian batsman after Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs) and Rahul Dravid (24,208 runs).
