Shoaib Malik revealed that the 2020 World T20 will be his last ICC event.
Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik said he wants to play international cricket till the T20 World Cup in 2020. He further added that he knows that his performance will be a key factor in this regard. Shoaib already took the retirement from the test cricket in 2015. However, he is one of the regular members of Pakistan cricket team.
Shoaib Malik said that the World Cup 2019 will be his last ODI world cup. He further added, that in T20 cricket, his aim is to play till the 2020 World T20. Shoaib said that these are his two main goals and he has to perform consistently to achieve these goals.
Shoaib Malik has played 95 T20Is, 261 ODIs, and 35 Tests for Pakistan. He captained Pakistan in the inaugural T20 world cup in 2007. Shoaib also played a crucial inning in the final match of 2009 World T20. He is currently signed by Guyana Amazon Warriors for the Carribean Premier League (CPL).
