Hulk Hogan Death: WWE Legend Dies at 71 in Florida

Hulk Hogan, the WWE legend passed away at 71. The legendary fighter, whose actual name was Terry Gene Bollea died Thursday morning after having a heart attack at his house in Clearwater, Florida.

According to the reports of TMZ Sports, medical services received an emergency call about a cardiac arrest. Hulk Hogan died soon despite immediate medical attention and transfer into a hospital.

Born on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia; at the time of his demise, Hulk Hogan age was 71. He started his professional wrestling career in 1979 with WWF currently WWE and he very soon became popular worldwide. The wrestler Hogan was known by his trademark saying, that is, Whatcha gone do when Hulkamania goes berserk on you which he was a pop culture icon in the eighties and the nineties.

Hogan headlined several editions of WrestleMania, helped grow WWE into a global brand, and starred in movies like Rocky III and No Holds Barred. He also appeared in the reality TV series Hogan Knows Best.

Hulk Hogan inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice — first in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the nWo (New World Order) faction.

Following Hulk Hogan’s death, tributes poured in from fans and fellow wrestlers around the world. He is survived by his wife, Sky Daily, and two children.
