Pakistani stunt driver Sultan Muhammad Khan, known as Sultan Golden, set two new world records in Quetta on December 13, 2025. He broke the fastest reverse drive record and the longest reverse ramp jump, placing Pakistan on the global motorsports map.
Fastest Reverse Drive World Record Achieved in Pakistan
Sultan Golden completed a one-mile reverse drive in 57 seconds. He achieved the feat on Saturday in Quetta, Balochistan. The previous record stood at one minute and 15 seconds. An American stuntman set it in 2022. Sultan Golden cut the time by 18 seconds. Officials confirmed the run on the same day.
The fastest reverse drive world record now belongs to Pakistan. The attempt drew large crowds and media attention. Safety teams and timekeepers stayed on site throughout the run.
Second World Record Set the Same Day
Sultan Golden did not stop after the reverse drive. He attempted another challenge in Quetta. He cleared a reverse ramp jump of 121.72 feet. The previous record measured 89 feet and 3.25 inches. This made it a double world record day for the Pakistani stuntman.
The achievement sparked national reaction. President Asif Ali Zardari praised Sultan Golden for showcasing Pakistani talent. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also issued congratulations. Both leaders said the record improved Pakistan’s global image.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced a cash reward of Rs50 million. He called the achievement a source of pride for the province and the country.
Sultan Golden comes from Pishin near Quetta. He has performed stunts since the 1980s. In 1987, he set a world record for the longest motorbike ramp jump at 249 feet over 22 cars. His latest records now add another chapter to Pakistan’s motorsports history.
