In a stunning display of power, Pakistan’s Usman Wazeer knocked out Indian boxer Thilak Selvam in the first round of their bout at the World Youth Boxing Championship held at the Thai Boxing Arena.

At 22, Usman Wazeer, often referred to as “The Asian Boy,” hails from Astore, in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region. His win against Selvam extends his undefeated streak to 14 consecutive victories since starting his professional career in 2018. Among his many achievements, Wazeer captured the WBC World Youth title in 2022 and defended it successfully in 2023, further establishing himself as one of Pakistan’s top boxing talents.
