Alphabet Inc�s Google revealed 3rd edition of Pixel smartphone, its first tablet computer and Google Home smart speaker with display.
Google unveiled new Pixel phone edition with Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. However, Google�s Android software is already running on majority of smartphones. In addition, Google also topped Amazon.com Inc in the sales of smart speakers.
Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are available at $799 and $899 respectively. However, Google Pixel phone hopes will someday be as popular as Apple Inc�s iPhone.
The Pixel Slate tablet is available at $599. It operates on Google�s beefier Chrome OS laptop operating system rather than Android. However, it can give a tough time to Apple iPad Pro tablet series.
Google shipped more than 2.5 million Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in nine months period ended on June 30.
Initially, the new Pixel phone will launch in ten different countries. However, new editions include Taiwan, Japan, Ireland, and France.
