Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik bungee jumping 430 feet around Turtle Beach, Nusa Penida in Bali, Indonesia became viral in the middle of 2025. The jump was performed with all the safety equipment, a harness and helmet-mounted camera along with the assistance of trained professionals.
Dr Zakir Naik’s bungee jumping video quickly went viral on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), garnering millions of views. It was about 130 meters in the air, and that is the height of a 45-storey building, which was shot from different angles.
Previously, in December 2024, Dr Zakir Naik had also done a bungee jump of a 165 feet (50 meters) height near the river Nile in Jinja, Uganda. Full safety procedures also took place during that incident and are documented online.
Dr Zakir Naik, who is widely known for his religious lectures and as the founder of Peace TV, drew global and Pakistani attention for this adventurous activity. His public appearance in Indonesia for bungee jumping has significantly increased engagement across digital platforms, especially in Pakistan.
