Stranded Tourists in Nathia Gali Will Be Rescued by Army, PAF Personnel


Pakistan Army and Air force have each dispatched a team of rescue stranded tourists in Nathia Gali, the Army spokesperson said late Monday night on Twitter.

According to Major General Asif Ghafoor, the director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the rescue teams were sent after they received “media reports” and would help “in support of civil administration”.

“Rescue teams carrying medicines and food items,”Director General ISPR Maj Gen Ghafoor said, adding that the “road [is] blocked due to heavy snowfall and broken down vehicles” and “approach being cleared”.

Army aims to rescue stranded tourists in Nathia Gali as soon as possible.
