In Mumbai, India, a shocking incident took place when politician Baba Siddique, former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader, gunned down by three shooters linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The tragic event unfolded outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East on a Saturday night, leaving everyone in a state of shock. Two of the shooters are now in police custody, while the hunt for the third shooter is still on.
The news took a darker turn when the Bishnoi gang openly claimed responsibility for the killing through a social media post. The gang didn’t hold back, stating that Baba Siddique targeted due to his connection with Bollywood star Salman Khan. They even issued a chilling warning, saying anyone supporting Salman Khan would face the same consequences. The post made from a Facebook account linked to Shubham Rameshwar Lonkar, a name already associated with the gang. Authorities are digging deeper into the online post and examining Shubham’s suspected involvement in the murder plot.
According to reports, the suspects had a well-thought-out plan. They had been tailing Baba Siddique, keeping a close eye on his movements for over a month. The shooters identified as 23-year-old Gurmail Baljit Singh from Haryana and 19-year-old Dharam Raj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh. The third shooter, still on the run, has named as Shiv Kumar Gautam, also from UP. There’s also a suspicion of a fourth person who may have played the role of a handler. Before the killing, the gang had given the suspects weapons and even an advance payment of Rs 50,000.
The investigation revealed that Gurmail and Dharam Raj were neighbors and used to work as laborers in Pune before they involved in the underworld. Mumbai Police believe the gang had plotted the assassination meticulously, aiming to send a strong message. Now, security agencies are on high alert as they try to track down the missing shooter and crack down on the gang’s operations across the region.
