London: Iran reopened the nuclear plant after nine years of shutdown.

Iran took a crucial decision as it reopened the Uranium Feedstock plant after the long duration of 9 years. Atomic Energy Agency (AEOI) revealed that the country is looking to increase uranium enrichment capacity. However, a few weeks back, the US President Donald Trump announced the US withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal.

European authorities are trying to protect the accord. They believe that it is crucial to forestalling the Iranian Nuclear Weapon. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian Supreme Leader, ordered the AEOI in June 2018 to enhance nuclear capacity. However, he ordered it in case of the failure of European efforts.

AEOI revealed that after Donald Trump’s deal withdrawal and Khamenei’s orders, a plant for the UF6 production launched. In addition, a barrel of yellow cake and feedstock for the centrifuge machines for the uranium enrichment are also delivered.
