Kyrgyzstan Tourist Visas For Pakistan And India Are Suspended

Kyrgyzstan suspended the issuance of tourist visas for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India.

Four countries have been taken off from the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry�s visa regime information list. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and India has suspended to allow technical work on the e-Visa portal in order to control security and law and order issues.

Earlier, citizens of above stated South Asian countries were eligible for e-visas and on-arrival visas.

This step has taken amid deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan, followed by the rapid overthrow of the Afghan government.

Kyrgyzstan promised to issue 500 student visas to Afghans, but complied with the offer without taking any concrete action to implement the offer.

Some business Pakistanis found a job via Kyrgyzstan, where they could travel relatively easily could travel to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is to ease some restrictions on direct travel, for vaccinated people (in Saudi Arabia) and have a residence permit.
