Pakistan Joins Board of Peace for Gaza Stability
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had accepted the invitation by the U.S. The decision by Islamabad is in line with its historical convictions under the Palestinian cause. Pakistan is seeking to guarantee the use of the Gaza peace plan by coordinating an international structure by joining the Board of Peace.

Strategic Goals of the Gaza Peace Plan
The role of Pakistan in the BoP dedicated to a number of humanitarian and political milestones critical to it:
- The Implementation of a Permanent Ceasefire: The Move to permanent truces to permanent stability.

Gaza Board of Peace Members List
Pakistan is not alone in this venture. It joined a joint statement alongside Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Qatar, and the UAE. These eight Muslim-majority nations emphasize that the Board of Peace must operate in line with international legitimacy.
Although the initiative, which has the support of President Trump, oriented towards a post-war political process, it has come under scrutiny in the domestic context. Other analysts fear that the BoP can avoid orthodox United Nations roles. Nevertheless, the Foreign Office insists that the action needed to make a positive contribution in bringing suffering in the region to an end.
Board of Peace is an interim government. It is given a roadmap to recover and govern Gaza under the UNSC Resolution 2803. The involvement of Pakistan is an indication of its active attitude to the Middle East relations so that this right of Palestinians of self-determination is active on the international agenda.
