Queen Elizabeth Named Prince Harry as the Duke of Sussex

WINDSOR:  Queen Elizabeth nominated Prince Harry as the Duke of Sussex. However, Meghan Markle will become the Duchess after her wedding with Prince Harry.

Queen Elizabeth revealed from the Buckingham Palace that Prince Harry will be the Duke of Sussex. She is the grandmother of Prince Harry who is going to wed Meghan Markle. However, traditionally, the monarch usually bestows such titles on prince and their spouse on their wedding day.

In addition, a title of Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel was already given to Prince Harry. However, it is related to the tradition of awarding different titles from several UK constituents. The Sussex’s royal duchy was introduced by George III for his son Augustus Frederick in the 19th century. The dukedom became extinct as Augustus died in 1943 without leaving any child.

The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be held today at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Several Key people will attend this memorable event.
