Rumors clarified regarding the suspension of British Airways Flights

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has refused all rumors regarding the suspension of British Airways flights. It was reputed that the suspension occurred due to the non-availability of fuel at the Islamabad International Airport.

As per the press release, the manager of British Airways contacted the manager of Islamabad International Airport and informed them that the flights will pursue till 15 June. The reason was operational which led to the suspension of the British Airways flight to Islamabad from 15 to 30 June 2022.

However, PCAA clarified its stance and said British Airways was facing technical issues and rumors regarding fuel shortage were bogus. British Airways is in touch with Islamabad International Airport.

A brief background of British Airways to Pakistan continued in June 2019. The first flight flew in 1976. Moreover, due to the suicide bombing at the Marriot Hotel in Islamabad in 2008, the airlines had to suspend their operations.
