Rescue and search operation for survivors is in progress after flood in Japan killed several people while several are missing.

A deadly flood in Japan killed at least 130 people. The flood caused by the heavy torrential rain that later resulted in the huge flood and land sliding. However, authorities are still doing a search and rescue operation to reduce the death toll as minimum as possible.

By Tuesday morning, rescue workers were looking door to door for survivors. They said that they call it a grid operation where they check each building to find the trapped survivors. They further added that they know it is a race against time and they are trying as hard as they can.


However, the situation is much worse in some areas due to flood in Japan. In the Mabi district of Kurashiki, the flood water left behind the yellow slit. In addition, it transformed the area into the moonscape.
