US Aid to Pakistan: Donald Trump hints to restore $1.3 billion support

United States President Donald Trump hinted that the US aid to Pakistan will be restored again.

$1.3 billion US aid to Pakistan may be restored soon as United States President Donald Trump hinted about the possibility. He said this while his meeting with PM Imran Khan at White House.  However, in 2018, the aid was suspended by the US Government.

US President Donald Trump said that they suspended the aid as Pakistan was not helping the United States and it was earlier than the current Pakistani government. He further added that the ties between Pakistan and United States are now improved.


As per the White House press release, the US president acknowledged policies of Pakistani government to enhance the regional security. In addition, the path to an enduring and strong partnership between the United States and Pakistan lies in mutual collaboration to find the peaceful resolution of the Afghanistan conflict.
