US Travel Advisory for Pakistan, reduces its COVID-19 advisory to “Level One�. India, Japan, Liberia, Gambia, and Mozambique are also included in the list.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has upgraded its COVID-19 travel advisory to “Level One: Low”. This decision is taken for Japan, India, Pakistan, Liberia, Gambia, and Mozambique. US travel advisory for Pakistan has announced in the last meeting. The CDC advises against traveling to the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Iceland amid growing virus cases.
The CDC extended its travel recommendations for the three countries to “Level Four: Very High”. It stressed Americans to refrain from traveling from the stated countries.
Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity rate fell below 1% on Sunday for the first time since March last year, when the government began recording data on epidemics. Earlier, Pakistan has consistently reported less than 2% positive Covid infection. However, it is recorded less than 1,000 daily infections.
A reduction in hospital admissions and daily deaths is also observed. It is indicating an overall improvement in the COVID-19 situation in Pakistan.
