A woman named Manishra Rawat died after a fake doctor performed surgery at an unlicensed clinic in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India. Police say the operator, Gyan Prakash Mishra, and his nephew tried the surgery while intoxicated and following a YouTube video.

Her husband had taken her to the clinic for severe abdominal pain. The clinic owners claimed she had kidney stones. They initially quoted ₹25,000, later agreeing to ₹20,000 for the procedure.

During the operation, Mishra cut vital veins and intestines instead of treating the stones. Manishra’s condition worsened, and she died the next day.

Police Action and Investigation

Police registered a case for murder and SC/ST Act violations after the husband filed a complaint. The clinic has been sealed. Authorities say both suspects are absconding. Teams are searching to arrest them soon.
