Muhajir Culture Day in Karachi celebrated with full fervor. The central event all set to take place at the Governor House, where elaborate preparations have been made. To add to the festivities, MQM Pakistan has established welcome camps at various key locations across the city, creating a lively atmosphere.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori took the lead in welcoming consuls general from 11 countries at the Governor House. The diplomats observed the arrangements for Muhajir Culture Day and appreciated the hard work that went into organizing the event. This international participation has added a special touch to the celebrations, emphasizing the cultural importance of the day.
Governor Tessori, during his visit to several camps, stopped by the one at Ayesha Manzil. Addressing the attendees, he shared heartfelt sentiments about cultural unity, calling Punjabis, Sindhis, Baloch, and Pashtuns the elder brothers of the nation while referring to himself as the younger brother. His words resonated with the crowd, as he highlighted the bond that ties all communities together.
The Governor couldn’t hide his excitement, saying the vibrant mood felt like Chand Raat before Eid. He pointed out how the Governor House reflects the beauty of all cultures, and under MQM’s leadership, the essence of migrant culture would shine through at the grand ceremony planned there.
To mark the occasion, Tessori cut a celebratory cake amid cheers from the crowd. Fireworks lit up the sky, balloons were released, and sweets were distributed, adding to the festive vibes. The energy and enthusiasm of the youth were evident as slogans echoed across the camps, making this cultural day one to remember.
