China Gifts Modern Fire and Rescue Fleet Worth PKR 3 Billion to Pakistan

China has announced a major aid package for Islamabad, Pakistan, gifting a modern fleet of 21 fire and rescue vehicles valued at approximately PKR 3 billion. It is to significantly boost emergency response and high-rise rescue capabilities

According to the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, the assistance package includes 21 state-of-the-art emergency vehicles. They are designed to strengthen public safety and disaster resilience.

A key highlight of the incoming fleet is an advanced 88 meter high snorkel tender. This equipment is specifically engineered to handle complex rescue missions and fire-fighting operations in high rise buildings across the capital, a vital upgrade for modern urban safety infrastructure.

The entire fleet is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan this month.
