Haval Records Impressive Sales Growth in Pakistan with Launch of Haval Jolion
Haval Pakistan, a leading automotive manufacturer, has achieved significant sales success following the introduction of the Haval Jolion in the country. The latest data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturer’s Association (PAMA) reveals that Haval posted its third-highest sales figures in June 2023 since its national debut. The company sold a combined total of 218 units of the Haval H6 and Jolion models, representing a 56% increase compared to the previous month.
The Haval Jolion, which was locally assembled and launched in May 2023, has played a key role in driving the company’s sales growth. This SUV competes with popular models like the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson, boasting a futuristic and stylish design both inside and out.
Powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Jolion delivers 147 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque to the front wheels through a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. It features advanced safety technologies such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). The suspension system comprises McPherson Struts at the front and Torsion Bar Coil Spring suspension at the rear.
In terms of pricing, the Haval Jolion is competitively positioned at Rs. 8.3 million, offering excellent value for money compared to its rivals. Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) has ensured that the locally assembled Jolion is loaded with high-tech amenities, making it an appealing choice for customers in the compact crossover segment.
Haval’s sales performance in June 2023 demonstrates the positive impact of the H6 and Jolion models on the company’s overall success. The introduction of the Jolion, with its attractive features, modern design, and competitive pricing, has positioned Haval as a strong competitor in the Pakistani automotive market.
