Chery’s iCAUR has introduced the V25 with fully electric and range-extended versions. The SUV brings a 335 kW AWD option, towing support and camping power. Pakistan buyers still await an official launch date, local specifications and a price announcement.
iCAUR’s SUV range already pairs the smaller electric V23 with the larger V27 range-extender. The Chery Group brand has now added the V25 between these models, offering both types of electric powertrain for international markets.
The V25 made its global debut at the iCAUR International User Summit in Wuhu, China, on October 19, 2026. Both versions later joined the V27 for test drives beginning October 21.
Battery Power or Petrol Backup
The fully electric model, also called a battery-electric vehicle or BEV, runs on stored electricity. The range-extended electric vehicle, or REEV, adds a petrol engine which generates electricity for the electric drivetrain.
Chery’s Golden REEV system offers five operating modes. These are Forced EV, EV Priority, Hybrid, Fuel First and Forced Charge. The company claims peak engine thermal efficiency of 44.5% and electricity generation of 3.71 kWh per litre of fuel.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version produces 335 kW, equivalent to about 449 hp, and 505 Nm of torque. Its i-AWD system adjusts power distribution according to road conditions.
Round Headlights and Space for Trips
The V25 keeps the family’s boxy shape, circular LED headlights and upright windscreen. A side-opening tailgate and rear-mounted full-size spare wheel complete the exterior.
Inside, the cabin offers 41 storage compartments and up to 1,549 litres of luggage space. The BEV adds a front luggage compartment and 22 litres of underfloor storage.
The front seats fold flat to form a resting area with the rear seats. Listed equipment includes heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, driver’s seat memory, an opening panoramic sunroof and a 15-speaker sound system.
Towing Support and Camping Power
Chery quotes a 1.8-tonne towing capacity and 6 kW vehicle-to-load output, which supplies electricity to external equipment.
More than 20 factory accessory connections support personalisation without changes to key vehicle systems. Owners have attachment points for camping equipment and other outdoor accessories.
Seven Airbags and Driver Assistance
Chery lists seven airbags, including a front-centre airbag. The body uses 80% high-strength steel, including advanced grades.
Available driver aids include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, blind-spot detection and driver monitoring. A surround-view camera and automatic parking assistance also appear on the feature list.
The company describes global five-star safety standards as a development target. The debut release does not identify an independent crash-test rating.
Pakistan Launch Unconfirmed
NexGen Auto, Nishat Group’s automotive business, already markets the V23 EV and V27 REEV in Pakistan. The company announced their local prices on September 22.
As of October 23, 2026, no official V25 launch date or price exists for Pakistan. The brand’s local website currently lists the V23 and V27.
Australia’s official iCAUR website lists a 2027 arrival. Other markets await their own specifications, pricing and launch schedules.
