Pak Suzuki Suspends Booking of These Cars

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) halts bookings for the Alto AGS, Cultus VXL, and Cultus AGS variants. Due to an international shortage of semiconductors, the company was forced to limit the production of the three models.

The company also revises the delivery times for the Alto VX and VXR against the booking to four months, Wagon R for all versions to four months, Cultus VXR to four months, and Ravi & Bolan to two months. Customers who paid in full at the time of booking face significant difficulties as a result of this latest development.

Moreover, PSML is considering a significant price increase as well. Pak Suzuki’s head of public relations, Shafiq Ahmed Shaikh, states that the company is forced to take several measures as a result of high production costs caused by a historic rise in the dollar.

Due to a shortage of semiconductors, automakers have been forced to reduce global production. The shortage occurred because car production was halted early in the pandemic. Pak Suzuki Motor Company is currently running low on this critical component, and the booking halt is a concerning sign.
