Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has reached a historic milestone by earning a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for organizing the “Most People in a Car Relay – Single Vehicle.” The achievement represents a proud moment for both PSO and Pakistan.
The successful record attempt took place at the YMCA Ground in Karachi, where 309 participants completed a continuous relay by driving the same vehicle. The entire activity complied with the official Guinness World Records regulations and was verified to meet all required standards.
Following the successful attempt, each participant received an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ certificate and medal, recognizing their contribution to a globally recognized achievement.
The record served as the highlight of The Mile Quest, PSO’s nationwide campaign focused on demonstrating the endurance and high-performance capabilities of PSO DEO MAX engine oil. From mountainous terrain to extensive highway journeys, the campaign showcased the product’s ability to perform under demanding conditions, culminating in this historic accomplishment.
Beyond setting a world record, the event brought together people from across Pakistan, including automotive communities, industry professionals, volunteers, and supporters, fostering an atmosphere of celebration and national pride.
However, Bamwheels oversaw the planning and execution of the PSO event while ensuring full compliance with Guinness World Records’ rigorous evaluation process.
PSO sincerely appreciates the dedication of all participants, partners, volunteers, officials, and media organizations whose support made this remarkable achievement possible.
With a continued focus on innovation, quality, and performance, PSO remains committed to delivering world-class energy solutions and to achieving milestones that inspire the nation.
