Rs5.429 Million: The New Price Tag for Suzuki’s Popular Model
The Suzuki Swift GLX CVT price in Pakistan has seen a significant hike, with the new price tag standing at Rs5.429 million. This marks a 6.3% increase from the previous price of Rs5.125 million, making it the second price hike for the popular car model in a month.
What’s Driving the Price Increase?
The primary reason for the price hike is the high sales tax on locally assembled vehicles, which was raised from 18% to 25% for vehicles with an invoice price (excluding sales tax) exceeding Rs4 million on March 8. Additionally, rising raw material costs have also contributed to the increase.
