Toyota Yaris Price Reduced: Countering Industry Trends

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering affordability for consumers, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced a significant reduction in prices for all Toyota Yaris 1.3L variants in Pakistan, effective March 14.

The price cuts, totaling up to Rs. 133,000, reflect IMC’s commitment to providing value to its customers amidst a challenging economic landscape. The revised prices for the Yaris variants are as follows:

  • The 1.3L GLi MT now priced at Rs 4,326,000, marking a reduction of Rs. 73,000.
  • The 1.3L GLi CVT now available at Rs 4,616,000, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 73,000.
  • The 1.3L Ativ MT priced at Rs 4,586,000, with a reduction of Rs. 73,000.
  • The 1.3L Ativ CVT experiencing the most substantial price reduction of Rs. 133,000, now priced at Rs 4,766,000.

This move comes at a time when the automotive industry is witnessing price hikes, exemplified by Pak Suzuki’s recent increase of Rs. 304,000 in the price of Swift GLX CVT, bringing it to Rs. 5,429,000. The rationale behind this increase was attributed to the federal government’s decision to raise sales tax from 18% to 25% on locally manufactured vehicles priced above Rs. 4 million.

IMC’s proactive price reduction for the Yaris 1.3L variants not only positions it as a competitive choice in the market but also demonstrates a customer-centric approach amid evolving industry dynamics.
