Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs1,400 Per Tola as International Rates Decline

Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday as the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,400 per tola, according to the latest update from the All Pakistan Sarafa Association. The decline came a day after gold prices recorded an increase in the local market.

In Karachi, the gold price per tola for 24-karat gold fell to Rs432,436 after a decrease of Rs1,400. Similarly, the 10 grams gold price in Pakistan was reduced by Rs1,200, reaching Rs370,744.

The decrease in local gold rates followed a decline in the international gold market, where gold prices dropped by $14 per ounce. The global gold rate reached $4,100 per ounce.

Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by several factors, including international market trends, currency exchange rates, and changes in global demand. Any movement in the international bullion market directly impacts local gold rates.

Meanwhile, the silver price in Pakistan moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver increased by Rs11 per tola, reaching Rs6,432 per tola.
