Gold prices in Pakistan increased once again on Monday after a brief pause, following a fresh surge in international bullion markets. The latest increase pushed both local and global gold rates higher, reflecting continued demand and market volatility.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,700, taking it to Rs428,436.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,457, reaching Rs367,314 in the local market.
The rise in gold prices in Pakistan comes as the international gold price also recorded an increase. In the global bullion market, the price of gold per ounce climbed by $17, reaching $4,060.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs54, settling at Rs6,291, according to the association.
Gold prices in Pakistan typically fluctuate in line with movements in the international bullion market and changes in the Pakistani rupee’s exchange rate against the US dollar. Investors and buyers continue to closely monitor global economic developments, which remain a key factor influencing precious metal prices.
