The latest increase comes as international gold prices climbed by $47 per ounce, pushing global bullion rates to $4,068 per ounce. The rise in global gold prices directly impacted the local market, leading to higher rates across Pakistan.

Following the latest revision, the 24-karat gold price in Pakistan today stands at Rs. 429,236 per tola, making it one of the highest levels recorded in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 4,029, reaching Rs. 368,000.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also moved upward. The price of one tola of silver increased by Rs. 219, taking the new rate to Rs. 6,396 per tola.

Gold prices in Pakistan fluctuate daily based on changes in the international gold market, the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, and local demand and supply conditions. Any increase in global bullion prices is usually reflected in the domestic market.

Jewellers and investors continue to monitor international market trends, as further movements in global gold prices could influence gold rates in Pakistan in the coming days.
