Gold Prices Fall Significantly Across Local and Global Markets

Gold prices decreased in the domestic market following a decline in international gold rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 5,100 to Rs 420,536.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 4,373 to Rs 360,541.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs 4,009 to Rs 330,507.
International Market Rates
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $51 to $3,980 per ounce.
Silver Rates
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased.
The price of 24-karat silver decreased by Rs 238 to Rs 5,530 per tola, while the price for 10 grams decreased by Rs 204 to Rs 4,741.
The international price of silver per ounce decreased by $2.38 to $50.52.
