Gold Prices in Pakistan Fall by Rs5,600 Per Tola as International Gold Rates Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decline for the second consecutive day, following a sharp fall in international bullion markets. The latest decrease has provided relief to buyers and investors after recent record-high prices.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan dropped by Rs5,600, bringing the new rate down to Rs424,136.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs4,801, settling at Rs363,628 across local bullion markets.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $56 per ounce, with the global rate reaching $4,017 per ounce. The decline in global bullion prices directly impacted gold rates in Pakistan, resulting in a notable reduction for the second straight trading session.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also moved lower. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs50, taking the new rate to Rs6,289.

Bullion market experts say fluctuations in international gold prices and currency movements continue to influence domestic gold rates. Investors and traders are closely monitoring global economic developments, which remain the key drivers of precious metal prices.
