Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum for the third straight day, with rates witnessing a fresh increase in the local bullion markets of Karachi.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 100, reaching Rs 455,236 in the domestic market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs 85, bringing it to Rs 389,685.
In the international bullion market, gold prices recorded a slight upward movement, with the per ounce rate increasing by $1 to reach $4,328.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward in the local market. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs 6, reaching Rs 7,503.
Market analysts say the continuous rise in gold prices is linked to fluctuations in the global market and changes in the value of the US dollar, which continue to impact bullion trading in Pakistan.
The ongoing increase has kept investors and jewelers closely watching market trends as gold remains one of the most preferred safe-haven assets in times of economic uncertainty.
