Gold Rate in Pakistan Falls Below Rs440,000 After Rs2,000 Drop

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Monday, October 12, 2026. A Rs2,000 decline took 24-karat gold to Rs439,936 per tola, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

The drop reversed Saturday’s Rs1,100 increase, which had raised the price to Rs442,036. Compared with the Rs457,136 rate on September 12, gold now costs Rs17,200 less per tola.

Ten-Gram Gold and Silver Also Fall

Ten grams of 24-karat gold fell Rs1,800 to Rs377,174. The 22-karat rate stood at Rs345,755 per 10 grams.

Silver dropped Rs23 per tola to Rs6,532. The price of 10 grams fell Rs19 to Rs5,600.

U.S. Inflation Reports Come Next

The international rate quoted with Pakistan’s daily bullion prices fell $21 to $4,174 per ounce.

In global trading, spot gold stood at $4,176.86 per ounce at 2:11 p.m. Pakistan time, down 0.4%. U.S. gold futures for December delivery also fell 0.4% to $4,200.90.

A firm dollar near an 18-month high put pressure on gold. Investors awaited Wednesday’s U.S. consumer inflation figures, followed by producer inflation and retail sales data on Thursday, for clues about the Federal Reserve’s next interest-rate decision.

Gold pays no interest, so higher rates increase the appeal of assets which offer interest income.
