Gold Rate Today: Per Tola Gold Price Drops Rs9,720 in Pakistan After Global Gold Market Slump

KARACHI: The gold rate today in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline as gold prices dropped sharply in both local and international markets amid the latest developments surrounding Iran-US tensions.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs9,720, bringing the latest gold rate in Pakistan to Rs432,716 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs8,748, reaching Rs369,422.

The decline follows a major drop in the international gold price, where gold fell by $97.20 per ounce to settle at $4,102.80 per ounce. Experts say fluctuations in global markets and changing investor sentiment linked to geopolitical developments have contributed to the latest decrease in gold prices.

Meanwhile, the silver rate today in Pakistan also recorded a decline. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs40, bringing it down to Rs6,889.

Gold prices in Pakistan are closely linked to international market trends and currency movements. As global gold rates continue to fluctuate, investors and consumers are keeping a close watch on the gold rate today, particularly those planning to buy gold jewelry or invest in precious metals.

Market analysts believe further changes in the gold price in Pakistan may depend on upcoming developments in international financial and geopolitical conditions.
