Petrol Price Cut by Re 0.84, Diesel by Rs 2.63 Per Liter

The government has reduced petrol to Rs 389.28 per liter and high-speed diesel to Rs 412.12 from September 25 under Pakistan’s daily fuel pricing system.
The government has cut the price of petrol by Re 0.84 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 2.63 per liter.
Petrol will now cost Rs 389.28 per liter. HSD will be available at Rs 412.12 per liter. The revised rates took effect on September 25, 2026, according to the Petroleum Division
The latest reduction follows a decline in international petroleum prices. OGRA used a seven-day rolling average of Platts Arab Gulf prices to calculate the latest rates.
The average petrol price fell to $130.73 per barrel from $131.20. The average HSD price fell to $117.44 from $118.94.

The new rates are part of the government’s daily petroleum pricing mechanism. OGRA now publishes updated petroleum prices based on international market movements. The system uses a rolling average to allow domestic prices to respond more quickly to changes in global oil prices.
The Petroleum Division said the latest changes were also linked to movements in international prices, premiums and other costs.
