Petrol Price Cut by Rs1.70, Diesel by Rs3.12 Per Litre

The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs1.70 and high speed diesel by Rs3.12 per litre. The new rates will apply on September 23, with petrol priced at Rs392.05 and diesel at Rs418.96 per litre.

The government announced the fuel price reduction on Tuesday through a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.

Petrol has fallen from Rs393.75 to Rs392.05 per litre. High-speed diesel has dropped from Rs422.08 to Rs418.96 per litre.

According to the notification, the revised prices will remain applicable for September 23.
