Petrol Price Falls by Rs 2.27, Diesel by Rs 3.56 Per Liter

Petrol price has been reduced to Rs 389.03 per liter, while high-speed diesel now costs Rs 404.97 per liter under the latest fuel price revision.

The government has cut the petrol price by Rs 2.27 per liter. It has also reduced the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 3.56 per liter.

The revised prices will apply on September 29, according to the Petroleum Division notification.

The government recently approved a new daily fuel pricing system. Under the system, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will publish updated fuel prices on its website each day.

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said the new system uses a rolling seven-day average of international petroleum prices. The mechanism aims to reflect changes in global oil prices more quickly.
