The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong bullish rally on Thursday as investor confidence surged following improving regional sentiment, optimism surrounding a possible Iran-US understanding, and positive economic expectations linked to Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index opened trading with an impressive gain of nearly 1,800 points and furthered its ascendancy throughout the session, rising by over 2,900 points.

Intraday trading saw the major psych targets of 165,000, 166,000 and 167,000 points successfully recovered with very strong buying activity across major sectors.

The KSE-100 Index had risen by some 2,900 points to reach the 167,732 level at one point.
