Fake Teacher Scandal Exposed in Sindh Education Department

Authorities have uncovered the illegal recruitment of six fake secondary school teachers in Mirpurkhas

A major corruption scandal has emerged within the Sindh School Education Department regarding the fraudulent appointment of six grade-16 secondary school teachers in Mirpurkhas. Officials confirmed that fake appointment letters, complete with forged barcodes and unauthorized personal IDs issued through the department’s IT section, were used to secure the positions.

District Education Officer Mir Fazal Talpar stated that his official signature and seal were forged during the process. The department has officially declared the appointments illegal, blocked the personal IDs of the individuals involved and written to the Accountant General Sindh to stop all salary disbursements and recover previously drawn funds.

Inquiry and Official Action

The School Education Department has launched a departmental inquiry against local education officials, including the Director of Education, the District Education Officer, and two taluka officers, while requesting the IT Data Center to cancel the biometric records of the implicated teachers.

The teachers identified in the blocked records include Fahad Ali, Anil Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Zahid Ali, Arshad Ali, and Abida Parveen.

This discovery follows previous disclosures regarding hundreds of irregular appointments across the region.
