Free AI Summer Camp in Pakistan 2026: Sindh Government Launches Major Digital Skills Initiative for Students

The Sindh government has officially announced a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) summer camp for students in Pakistan, aimed at promoting digital literacy, AI skills training, and modern technology education among youth during the summer vacations.

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nahal Hashmi made the announcement at the Governor House in Karachi.

The official statement says that the AI summer camp program in Karachi will offer practical training on artificial intelligence, digital tools, and emerging technologies for students, free of charge.

The programme aims to equip students in Pakistan with the skills needed for an ever-evolving global workforce, where proficiency in AI, computer literacy, and tech-driven education is increasingly indispensable.

Governor Hashmi highlighted that with the right guidance and systematic training, students already using smartphones can easily grasp the concepts of AI.

Sindh Governor pointed out that the primary objective of the program is not only to produce job seekers but also to nurture entrepreneurial youngsters who can generate self-employment opportunities using the technology.

AI education in schools and summer camps will give students a competitive edge globally and contribute to Pakistan’s digital economy, he said.

High-Level Participation in Announcement

Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Fahd Haroon, Daniyal Nagori and other senior officials and education stakeholders also attended the press briefing.

The presence of these firms underscored the government’s intention to grow its initiatives on the education of AI technologies and reinforce the nation’s technology industry.

The officials affirmed that students who want to join the free AI Summer Camp in Sindh can apply on official Governor House website through online registration.

It anticipated that many students attending schools and colleges throughout the province will attend the program.
