The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued a public warning after a fake letter related to the LLB 4-year program duration and Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) eligibility began circulating on social media.
According to HEC, the letter is completely fake and was not issued by the commission. The document contains false and misleading information, and the public should not believe or share it.
HEC advised students, universities, and the general public not to trust, share, or act upon the fake notification.
The commission urged everyone to verify educational announcements only through HEC’s official website and its verified social media platforms to avoid falling victim to misinformation.
HEC reiterated that any updates regarding academic programmes, admissions, eligibility criteria, or examinations will only be communicated through its official channels.
