How to Apply for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Education Stipend in Pakistan

The Government of Pakistan is continuing its efforts to improve school enrollment and reduce dropout rates among children from low-income families through the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif initiative, operating under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
The program offers educational stipends every three months for children of active beneficiaries in the BISP Kafalat scheme, in order to help families meet their increasing education costs and to facilitate regular school attendance.
Eligibility Criteria for Education Stipend
To qualify for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend, the following conditions must be met:
- The child’s mother must be an active BISP Kafalat beneficiary
- The child must have a valid NADRA-issued B-Form/CRC from NADRA
- The child must fall within the required age bracket based on education level
Age Brackets by Education Level
- Primary Education: 4 to 12 years
- Secondary Education: 8 to 18 years
- Higher Secondary Education: 13 to 22 years
Registration Process
Parents or guardians are required to complete registration through the following steps:
- Visit the nearest BISP Field Office with the child
- Provide the child’s B-Form/CRC and registered mobile number
- Receive an enrollment slip from the BISP office
- Get the slip verified and stamped by the child’s school
- Must include class, section, school name, teacher details, and head teacher verification
- Submit the verified slip back to the BISP office
After successful verification, stipend payments are initiated.
Required Documents
Applicants must bring:
- CNIC of the BISP beneficiary (mother)
- Child’s NADRA-issued B-Form/CRC
- School or college admission slip verified by the institution
Officials have also confirmed that NADRA database verification of the B-Form is mandatory for enrollment.
Attendance Requirement
To continue receiving stipends, enrolled students must maintain at least 70% school attendance. Failure to meet this requirement may result in suspension of payments.
Quarterly Stipend Amounts

Special Incentive for Girls
The program is designed to promote female education and school retention, and those girls who successfully completed primary education will be rewarded with a one-time graduation bonus of Rs 3,000.
