MDCAT 2026 Result: When Will Candidates Get Their Scores?

Thousands of medical and dental college aspirants are now waiting for the MDCAT 2026 results. The examination ended across Pakistan on Sunday, with 138,160 candidates registered nationwide.

The official MDCAT 2026 result is expected within one week of the examination. If authorities follow that timeline, candidates could receive their results by Friday, September 25. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has not confirmed September 25 as the final result date.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has already released the Punjab answer key. Candidates can use it with their carbon copies to calculate their expected scores. UHS said the official result should come within one week.

Khyber Medical University (KMU) has also said candidates can view their results through its online portal within 36 hours of the examination.

Candidates should check PMDC and their respective admitting university websites for the official result announcement.

MDCAT 2026 Examination

The PMDC said 138,160 candidates registered for this year’s test. The examination took place in 34 cities across Pakistan and at an international center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations at 49,199. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had 38,841 and Sindh had 34,233. Balochistan recorded 9,923 registrations. AJK had 2,761, Gilgit-Baltistan 1,721 and Islamabad 1,245. Riyadh had 237 candidates.

PMDC prepared an item bank of around 8,000 questions with input from experts from about 80 subjects. Each paper contained 180 questions. Separate papers were prepared for each province.

In Punjab, 47,501 candidates appeared at 31 centers in 15 cities. UHS used biometric verification, scanners, walk-through gates and medical facilities at the centers.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38,845 candidates appeared at 59 centers in 9 cities.

In Sindh, more than 34,000 candidates appeared through Sukkur IBA Testing Service. Karachi had two centers at NED University and Dow University’s Ojha Campus.
