PAKISTAN: The Sindh government has officially declared summer holidays for all schools across the province.

According to the Education Department, vacations will start from June 1 and continue until July 31, applying to both public and private institutions. The decision was taken in response to increasing heatwave conditions and rising temperatures in different regions.

Meanwhile, Punjab has also announced its school vacation schedule, with schools closing from May 22 and reopening on August 24. The announcement aims to ensure student safety during extreme weather conditions across the country.

The announcements from both Sindh and Punjab indicate that provincial governments are taking precautionary measures to prioritize student welfare amid the ongoing extreme summer temperatures across Pakistan.
