Sindh Multi faith Education Program – In a groundbreaking move, Sindh has announced a new educational initiative aimed at providing students from diverse religious backgrounds with education tailored to their respective faiths. This decision reflects a commitment to inclusivity and cultural diversity within the education system.
Under this program, primary-level students belonging to different religions will receive education aligned with their own beliefs. The curriculum has been meticulously designed, and textbooks up to the fifth grade have already been published to support this initiative.
Looking ahead, the program will extend to secondary and intermediate levels, ensuring a comprehensive approach to multifaith education. Qualified teachers will be recruited to teach various religions, fostering understanding and respect among students from different cultural and religious backgrounds.
With approximately 361,485 students from minority communities currently enrolled in education in Sindh, this initiative underscores the region’s dedication to providing equal opportunities and fostering a harmonious learning environment for all.
